Hand Painted Halloween!

Candy Corn and Jack O' Lanterns!
I used: Gelish Black Shadow, Finger Paints Rococo Orange, TruGel Marshmallow, Gelish Arctic Freeze and a bit of yellow and green.

This one isn't totally halloweeny, but the black and gold give it a lovely dressed up feel I think. Like a masquerade ball.
I used: Gelish Black Shadow, Gelish Meet the King, Gelish All that glitters is gold, and a bit of white art gel.

I did a mani similar to this a ouple weeks ago, but it was so much fun I had to do it again!
I used: Gelish Amazon Flirt, Gelish Anime-Zing color, Finger Paints Appetite for the Archetype and a bit of Gelish Black Shadow for the art work. I also added purple rhinestones and some craft store glitter.

How cute are these Halloween Beauties?!?
I used: Gelish black Shadow, TruGel Marshmallow, Finger Paints Rococo Orange, and TruGel Toxic.

This may be my favorite manicure this week. I LOVE nightmare before Christmas and I was really hoping to do some nightmare nails. Yay!
I used: Gelish Simple Sheer, Gelish Black Shadow, Gelish Anime-Zing color, TruGel Smoke and Mirrors and a bit of white art gel.

Quick Frankin Nails. Seriously fast but still way fun.
I used: Gelish Black Shadow and Gelish Amazon Flirt. Thats it!

Last but not least, Harry Potter Nails!!!
I used: Gelish My Forbidden Love, Gelish Meet the King, Gelish Black Shadow and white art gel.

Fall is Here!!!

And everyone knows that fall = football!
My sister may be the nicest mom ever. These nails are all about her very own (not so little) #24.
And I was even able to find a football!
For this Mani, I used Gelish Want to Cuddle?, Gelish After Dark, Gelish Vegas Nights, TruGel Marshmallow, and a bit of Gelish Lady in Red. Team colors are navy and marooon. We can't all be as cute as the Seahawks I guess.

For my start of fall nails I really wanted to try an Ikat pattern. I've been seeing it everywhere (scarves, decorative pillows, phone cases) so it was kinda in my head and I think it turned out pretty ok, myabe I'll try again but with some different colors next time.
I used: Gelish Black Shadow, TruGel Marshmallow, and little bits of RCM Staycation and Gelish Shake it til you Samba.

My mom wasn't quite ready to let go of her bright summer nails so we went all out for this one. It kinda looks like neon confetti. Super fun to do and I could even tone it down a bit if I absolutely had to. Maybe.
 Neon Confetti Diet Coke Party!!!
I used: Gelish Amazon Flirt, Finger Paints Passion for Pink, ASP Ego, Finger Paints Appetite for the Archetype, TruGel Marshmallow and a few other colors for the dots. Way fun!

My last mani for this post is this lovely fall sweater design. I LOVE how it turned out and I can't wait to do variations of this all fall and winter. How cute would this be in oranges? In Christmas colors? Yay!
These nails are on the lovely Nita, who I adore and can't wait to see again soon.
I used: Gelish Want to Cuddle? TruGel Marshmallow and Gelish Meet the King.
Pretty simple!

Ombre Glitter Butterflies and what not

I was pretty light on nails this week but I still managed to do some fun stuff.
This first one is one of the most complex manicures I think I've ever done.
After prepping the nails, I started with a base color of two coats of white. (TruGel Marshmallow) Then I used a nice bright yellow, orange and hot pink on a makeup sponge to create the pretty ombre effect which I did twice to get good color saturation. After that I covered it with a glittery coat of Gelish Vegas Nights for some sparkle. Most of the nails were done and ready for a top coat at that point but a few of them were hand painted as butterfly wings. The wings look a little intimidating but really, they weren't as hard as I thought.
Pretty, right?

Here are my nails for the week. I have a hard time deciding what to do sometimes so for this manicure, I didn't decide. I just piked out the very brightest colors I have and went for it. Life is too short to be boring.
I know, its a lot of color. The brighter, the better!
I used, Gelish I'm brighter than you, Gelish Make you Blink Pink, TruGel Electric Purple, Finger Paints Appetite for the Archetype, Gelish Radiance is my middle name, Gelish Amazon Flirt and Orly Glowstick.

And I painted my toes with TruGel Electric Purple. Which I am LOVING! Is it pink? Is it purple? I don't know! But it has a very subtle shimmer to it and looks amazing in the sunshine. I love it.
p.s. I had to take these pics with my Saltwater Sandals on because of the terrible tan lines I have from wearing them all summer. Ooops.

Here are my Maggie Lou's nails. She wanted hearts and strawberries, Of course!
I use regular polish on kiddos as the gel just doesn't adhere very well. These mini manis are super quick and I love seeing all the crazy things they pick out.

The last one today are neon half moons modeled by my mother.
These are cool because the technique is exactly the same as for a French Mani, just way higher on the nail. pretty simple and very versatile. I love playing with the classics!
I used, TruGel Marshmallow, Gelish I'm Brighter than You and ASP Blue Crush.

Cameras, anchors, doggies, mermaids and...the Rebellion!

I had a busy week of nails! So many manis, so much cute!
This mani/pedi is modeled by the lovely Jane. It really couldn't have turned out any better!
I used, TruGel Marshmallow, ASP Blue Crush, Gelish Meet the King, Gelish All that glitters is gold, and Gelish Black shadow. I stamped the hearts with Konad and hand painted the cameras.

This next one was so fun because not only did I get to do a way cute mani, I also had a nice long chat with my good friend Christy who I haven't seen in a long time.
For this one, I used Gelish After Dark, Gelish I'm brighter than you, Gelish Night Shimmer, Gelish Waterfield and TruGel Marshmallow. All the art is hand painted.

This are my nails this week. I was REALLY TIRED so I skipped the nail art and just went for a classic pink mani. I kinda love a one color manicure every so often. I find it visually relaxing. I used Finger Paints Passion for P-Ink.
The ring was a gift from my sister. Its a wiener dog, if you cant tell, because I LOVE my looooong dog and everything that has anything to do with them.
He's the cutest thing to ever live!

Next we have Ariel's Little Mermaid nails, Modeled by the lovely and talented Emma who was headed to a California Beach Vaca and for sure needed mermaid fingers!
I used Gelish Radience is my middle name underneath Gelish Just what I wanted for the green, ASP Cutie Coral and TruGel Just Peachy for the rest.

My final manicure today is this totally amazing Star Wars Mani. I love Star Wars but I will admit that I was not previously familiar with these two symbals. The red is for the Rebellion (think Princess Leia) and the black one is for the Empire (Darth Vader). I think the other nails speak for themselves!
A huge thanks to Megan and her very pretty fingers for the chance to try something new!
I used: TruGel Marshmallow, Gelish Black Shadow, Gelish Waterfield, and little touches of some other colors for the nail art.

See you Monday!

July is coming...are you ready???

 We are!!!

And there's still time to come get your nails done before the holiday weekend.
Come over!

I've been doing a bunch of Independence Day Nails lately. They're so fun!
Here's the first one:

Nautical Nails!!!
I'm not the best hand painter, but these were super fun to do!
Thanks to lovely Andrea, for sharing her hands with me for a couple hours!
I used: Gelish Arctic Freeze and Finger Paints Modern Motif. Thats it!

This is what I'm wearing right now and I'm loving them! I've been wanting to try this mani for a while now and I can definitely say I'll be doing this one again!
Just don't look too closely at my right hand flowers as they look less like flowers and more like stuff I studied in biology class.
I used: TruGel Marshmallow, Red Carpet Love Those Baby Blues, Gelish Hot Rod Red and Gelish After Dark. And a dotting tool.

Flag Nails!
Whats more patriotic than stars and stripes? I love how this one turned out. And it wasn't really all that much nail art either!
How pretty is this picture? Two of my favorite things, nail art and glassybaby
I used: TruGel Marshmallow, Gelish Hot Rod Red and Gelish After Dark.

Little Girl Mani/Pedi!

This is my little girl. She's pretty happy with herself!

My little boy, not so happy.

And finally, my sparkly red white and blue fingers and toes.
A pretty simple Mani/Pedi. The only fun thing here is the glitter fade, which is always a hit.
I used: Gelish Hot Rod Red, Gelish After Dark, Gelish Night Shimmer, Gelish Waterfield and TruGel Marshmallow.
